I am endorsed by 5 different former city council representatives, two of whom went on to serve as mayor; Barbara Crews-Galveston at-large City Council Member and Galveston Mayor; Joe Jaworski, District 3 Council representative and Galveston Mayor; Elizabeth Beeton, District 3 representative and current GISD Board of Trustees, Ralph McMorris, District 3 representative and island business owner and, Jackie Cole, District 6 representative, and island business owner who, even though she represented the west end, believes in our message enough to support our campaign. I am also supported by Jeffrey Hill who was chair of the planning commission when I served as vice chair. Nobody knows what it takes to serve on the city council better than those who have done so and this group believes in my demonstrated commitment to the city and people of Galveston.

I've known Bob Brown for many years. His selfless dedication to his neighborhood and the whole community has been demonstrated over and over again by his willingness to get involved, to help solve problems, and to work to improve the quality of life in Galveston.

I agree that Bob would be a great addition to council! In my three years of serving with him on Planning Commission he never failed to be thoroughly prepared and willing to listen to what solution would best serve the citizens of our island.
